The darkest night comes just before the dawn. The days are short and the isolation and uncertainty of this year persist. Yet, we remain hopeful because the Light has dawned, is dawning, and will dawn.
Just as Christ came into the world — God born man so that we may be born like God — so too He comes into the darkness and messiness of our lives with a Light that heals and soothes the wounds of frustration, discord, loneliness, and brokenness.
The doors of our homes may remain closed to others this Christmas. But don’t shut your heart to the Divine Light which wants to radiantly burst through and thaw the ice that sometimes calcifies our hearts.
How will you bring joy to someone else this Christmas? How will you be the face of God to another? There is never a better time.
May you lean into 2021 with fullness of hope and abandonment of joy.
All will be well,
John & The SENT Team
