It’s no secret that these are challenging times for the Church. Many of us feel called to help in whatever way we can.
Sunday, July 18th marked the feast day of St. Camillus de Lellis, who built hospitals and clinics across the world. Often, when became overwhelmed with the work before him, he would pray to God. Once, while praying, the crucifix in the church spoke out to him saying, “Tell me what is troubling you, pusillanimous one? Go on and I will help you because this is my work and not yours.”
We pray that when you are faced with challenges, that you find solace knowing that the Lord is working with you.
