Alessandro DiSanto

Alessandro is one of the Co-Founders at Hallow, a Catholic prayer and meditation app. Raised in a large Italian-American family, Alessandro is a proud product of Catholic education from kindergarten through college, ultimately graduating summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in finance and economics. Alessandro began his career on Wall St, at Goldman Sachs in New York City before becoming a private equity investor in Chicago. After a series of life-changing experiences in prayer, Alessandro left his career in finance to join his friends in building Hallow. Along with the other co-founders of Hallow, Alessandro was recognized as a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2021. He lives in Chicago with his wife, Sam.

James attended six years of seminary at St. John Vianney seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota and St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Indiana. Before becoming president of the University of St. Thomas, Richard L. Ludwick served as president of the Independent Colleges of Indiana, the nation’s oldest association of 31 private, nonprofit colleges and universities. He led strategic initiatives in public policy at the state and federal levels, spurred innovative, intercollegiate collaborations, and successfully executed multi-million dollar philanthropic campaigns. Early in his career, Richard co-founded a law firm in Indiana and later went on to serve institutions of higher learning across the United States.

Hanna Tomory is a Deployment Strategist with Palantir Technologies, leading Palantir Technologies’ private sector business in Canada. Previously she led projects with Palantir in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, and the United States, in banking, insurance, automotive, healthcare, and defense sectors. Hanna studied Systems Engineering and Philosophy at the University of Toronto (complementing physics with metaphysics) and Bioelectronics at ETH in Zurich. She advises a number of technology startups, charitable non-profits, and geopolitical institutions in strategic capacities.

Fr. Pier Giorgio Pacelli, OCD, became a Discalced Carmelite friar for the Washington Province in 2014. He was solemnly professed in 2020 and ordained a priest in July 2021. He is managing editor and operations officer for ICS Publications, the English-language publishing house of the Discalced Carmelite Order. He completed his master’s in sacred theology in 2019 at the Catholic University of America and is currently pursuing a master's degree in comparative literature and translation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The GIVEN Institute is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to activate the gifts of young adult women for the Church and for the world. Prior to joining GIVEN, Rachel worked in the Archdiocese of Baltimore for over twelve years supporting parishes and schools with their advancement efforts. Rachel has also taught theology courses in Catholic schools and served as Campus Minister at Mount de Sales Academy under the leadership of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Mother Mary Lange Guild for Canonization and the St. Kateri Conservation Center.
