ABOUT Barry Rowan

Barry Rowan has had a broad-based executive career serving as CEO and CFO, primarily in the technology and communications sectors. He was involved in building eight businesses from start-up through periods of hypergrowth and dramatic turnarounds, including four public companies with one selling for $10 billion. Barry has also served as a director for public and private companies. Grounded in character-based leadership, Barry has been dubbed a “corporate mystic” for his commitment to contemplative prayer. He describes his progression from a prayer life into a life of prayer through nearly annual eight-day silent retreats which he has done for the past eighteen years, and a thirty-day retreat to lay the foundation for the “encore calling” he and Linda are now pursuing. Barry and Linda have been married for forty-five years, and they have two married sons and three beloved grands.
