ABOUT Jason Deuterman
Jason Deuterman serves as the Executive Director of Marketing and Design at Our Sunday Visitor (OSV) and the Executive Director of the OSV Institute for Catholic Innovation. In his dual role, Jason leads the overall marketing and brand vision of OSV while also spearheading efforts to cultivate innovation within the Church. As Executive Director of Marketing and Design, he drives bold, integrated strategies that amplify OSV’s mission across its robust ecosystem of products and services. From OSV News and software solutions to fundraising and consulting, curriculum, trade books, and parish publications, OSV’s mission champions growth in discipleship from individual Catholics to families alike, and the strengthening of parishes and dioceses to better witness to the presence of Jesus Christ in the world.
As Executive Director of the OSV Institute for Catholic Innovation, Jason works to foster a culture of creativity and Gospel-driven boldness in the Church. Through strategic futuring, idea incubation, and accelerator-style programs, the OSV Institute equips innovators with the resources, mentorship, and seed funding needed to bring fresh ideas to life—initiatives that create new pathways of evangelization, form more dynamic parish life, and expand the Church’s capacity to respond to emerging needs in a rapidly changing world.
Since joining OSV in 2021, Jason has leveraged over 18 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, innovation strategy, and impact design across parishes, dioceses, universities, and organizations both nationally and internationally. Prior to joining OSV, Jason served as the Director of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministries for the Catholic Diocese of Dallas.
Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, a Master’s degree from the University of Dallas, and certifications in innovation and human-centered design from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and IDEO. He also serves on various non-profit boards serving the arts.
Outside of his work, you’ll likely find Jason either training in the gym or with the most important loves of his life, his bride of 15 years, Allison, and their three beautiful children
